Description as a Tweet:

ImBroke is a small financial program that lets users categorize their monthly expenses and calculate how much they should spend within each month. Based on the entered percentages, the program will output monthly limits on spending within each category.

Inspiration:

The struggles college students usually face when managing their finances inspired us to make this project

What it does:

Gives the user the ability to allocate their bank balance into several categories inn order to reduce unnecessary expenditure and increase savings.

How we built it:

The backend code was built in java on eclipse while it was then implemented as a web app in javascript, HTML, and CSS

Challenges we ran into:

Connecting the front end and the back end of the project was a challenge.

That the code satisfied its purpose and gave us a better understanding

What we've learned:

how to develop web apps using javascript/CSS/HTML

What's next:

Implement more functions like API's for chatbots and other user interaction interfaces and also give more info on how to assist user on saving easily
