Description as a Tweet:

Asimov is a robot capable of writing fanfictions of any book ever written. He will also read the story to you. Almost every word he wrote, he generates it all.

Inspiration:

I wanted to make people laugh and educate them about machine learning at the same time. I also wanted to see if text written by robots passes the textual Turing test.

What it does:

It scrapes the internet for story plots that you enter, summarizes them using NLP, then expounds upon them using GPT-2.

How we built it:

I built it using Python, AWS, and tensorFlow.

Technologies we used:

  • Python
  • AI/Machine Learning

Challenges we ran into:

NO SLEEP.

Accomplishments we're proud of:

Everything I got done!

What we've learned:

I learned about NLP and GPT-2.

What's next:

I want it to be able to talk about more than books.

Built with:

I built it with Python, AWS, tensorFlow, and PyCharm.

Prizes we're going for:

  • Best STEM Hack
  • Best AWS Hack
  • Funniest Hack
  • Best AI/ML Hack
